1 Help / Check for Update … Update The auto update function will every week look for new updates
2 Ctrl + N New Create a new session.
3 Ctrl+ O Open Open a session.
4 Ctrl + L Auto level - manual “Manual Auto level” is used for letting Hindenburg adjust the levels on selected audio.
5 Ctrl 1 & Ctrl 2 Selection in & out To edit audio you need to select an area for editing. This can be used cutting out words, copying audio or any other edit you can think of.
6 Ctrl + plus/minus or Ctrl + mousewheel Zoom in & out Zoom in to see more details and zoom out to get a better overview.
7 Ctrl + H Zoom - selection “Zoom selection” is used when zooming in on a specific area of the audio.
8 Shift + Ctrl + Plus & Minus Zoom -track height “Zoom Track Height” is used to make the tracks larger or smaller.
9 Ctrl + B Split “Split” or “Break” is used to separate a region. This can be used to quickly select areas that later can be removed or moved.

15 Ctrl + C Copy “Copy” will add the selection to the program memory and can be pasted or inserted later. This can be used to copy a breath or ambience.
16 Ctrl + V Paste "Paste” is used when placing audio in on top of existing audio This can be used to replace sections of the current audio.
17 Ctrl + V Paste in selection "Paste in selection" is used when placing audio in a selection. This can be used for adding ambience or music to a specific area.
18 Ctrl + I Insert "Insert" is used when inserting audio in front of existing audio. This can be used to move words and sentences in front of the current audio.
19 Shift + Ctrl + V Replace "Replace" is used to replace audio. This can be used to replace for example a short breath with a longer breath.
20 Ctrl + D Duplicate "Duplicate" is used to duplicate a region or selection. This can be used for for making music loops or duplicating ambience.
21 Shift + Ctrl + arrow up/down Volume - duck “Duck” is typically used for “ducking” music under narration. This can also be used for ambient beds or voice over
22 Shift + Ctrl + arrow up/down Volume - bedding “Audio bedding” is typically used for “bedding” ambience under a narration or interview
23 Ctrl + F Fade “Fades” are used for making smooth transitions from one piece of audio to another - or for gently bringing in ambience or music.
24 Shift + Drag Fade - slope “Fade slope” is used to make a more gradual fade.
25 Ctrl + F Fade - multi regions “Fade over multiple regions” is used to create a single fade over small regions. This could be ambience or edited music.
26 Ctrl + F Fade - cross fade “Cross Fade” is used for making a transition from one sound to another on the same track.
27 Ctrl + mouse Fade - cross fade point “Cross Fade point” is the cross section of the fade. It can be moved to fit the fade point better.
28 Ctrl + F Fade - multitrack “Multi track Fade” is used for adding the same fade for more than one track.
29 Ctrl + right arrow Insert silence “Insert Silence” is used to insert room into the edit.
30 Ctrl + left arrow Delete silence “Delete Silence” is used to delete blank room in the edit.
31 Click region Select - region Select a region to edit the entire region. Add fades or any edit function, like Cut, Copy & Paste.

45 Page up & Page down Next / Previous event Jump to the next event. This could be the next splice or marker
46 Shift + arrow keys left & right Next / Previous region Jump to the next region event. This shortcut will also highlight the region under the playhead
47 Arrow key up & down Tracks up & down Navigate between the tracks with the up & down arrow keys
48 Shift + R Arm track Prepare a track for recording. This identifies the track that you wish to record on.
