From Quote to Setup. The Complete Guide.
To request a quote, follow these steps:
Open the Price Calculator on our website.
Enter the number of licences* required in the calculator.
Click Get a Quote.
Choose your user type:
New Customer: Select New User, fill out your contact details, and click Continue.
Existing User: Select Existing User and sign in to your Hindenburg account.
Review your quote details carefully to ensure all information is correct.
Click Confirm to submit your request.
You’ll be redirected to a confirmation page displaying your quote reference number and confirming that your quote has been sent to your email.
If you cannot locate your quote email, please check your spam or junk folder.
If you’ve requested an education or non-profit discount, your quote may take up to 48 hours to be sent.
Workstation Licences – Designed for installation on multi-user devices.
Individual Licences – Intended for installation on a single-user device for one dedicated user.
*Licences are provided per installation, meaning each installation on a device counts as one licence. For Individual Licences, the dedicated user may install the software on both their work and home devices if needed.

You’ll receive an email with your quote link and instructions from sales@hindenburg.com.
The quote link is provided by our payment-handling partner FastSpring, our Merchant of Record.

How to pay and process a quote
When you click the quote link in your email, you’ll be able to view your quote details.
If you accept the quote, click “Accept and Continue.” You’ll then have two options:
Pay Now or Get Invoice.

Choose your preferred payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.).
Complete the payment directly through the secure FastSpring checkout.
Once the payment is processed, your purchase will be confirmed immediately.
You’ll receive a payment confirmation email from FastSpring, which includes your receipt and account creation link.

Click on the invoice icon to convert your quote into an invoice.
Review the invoice details to ensure accuracy.
Use the invoice to complete the payment later through your preferred internal process.
Once payment is made, you’ll receive a confirmation email from FastSpring that includes your receipt and account creation link.
Note: you can download your receipt/invoice by clicking the download icon in the top-right corner.

If you’d like to add a PO or reference number to your invoice or receipt, follow these steps:
Click the PO icon in the top-left corner of the invoice or receipt page.
Enter your PO or reference number manually.
The number will be added to your document for your records.

After processing your payment, you’ll be redirected to the receipt page, where you can download your receipt by clicking the download icon in the top-right corner.
You’ll also receive a payment confirmation email from FastSpring that includes your receipt as a link.
If you need to add a reference number or PO to your receipt, click the PO icon in the top-left corner of the page.

Access to all your licences, as Keysets
In the payment confirmation email that you received from FastSpring there is a link to create your Hindenburg account.
Click on the link “My Hindenburg Account” and you’ll be redirected to our website.
On the account setup page:
Complete your profile by filling in any missing information.
Accept the Terms and Conditions to finalize your account.
Once your account is created, you’ll have access to all your licences which will be available as Keysets in your account.

In 4 simple steps
In your Hindenburg account, you’ll see keysets for all the licences you’ve purchased.
To issue a licence:
Click Issue Licence on the keyset you want to use.
Click the “+” button.
Fill in the required fields — First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and optional Notes.
Click Issue Licence to confirm.
The licence will be issued instantly, and the end user will receive a Licence Details email from sales@hindenburg.com.

To issue several licences at the same time, you can import a CSV file instead of adding each user manually.
Click Issue Licence on the keyset you want to use.
Click Choose File to upload your CSV, your CSV file should include the following columns:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Notes (optional)
Click Issue Licence to confirm.
All licences will be issued at once, and each end user will receive a Licence Details email from sales@hindenburg.com.

Here's how your users get started with their licence.
