  • Now Supporting 99 Languages

    We are excited to announce that with the latest update, Hindenburg PRO Version 2 now supports transcription in 99 languages!

    Until now, Hindenburg PRO offered transcription in just 13 languages — and even among those, support for some smaller languages was limited. With this update, we are proud to dramatically expand our capabilities, offering transcription support across a vast range of languages, including many that have historically been underserved in digital audio workstations.

    This release also includes support for languages requiring right-to-left (RTL) text orientation, ensuring a seamless experience for users around the world.

    Some highlights among the new languages supported:

    • Balkan languages like Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Macedonian

    • Middle Eastern languages like Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu

    • Asian languages like Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Korean, and Japanese

    • African languages like Hausa, Amharic, Somali, and Swahili

    • European regional languages like Breton, Basque, and Faroese

    • And many more.

    Choosing the right model:
    To make the best use of our expanded language support, Hindenburg PRO 2 now offers two transcription models:

    • Small model:
      Optimized for the major languages (English, Spanish, French, German, etc.) — faster and lighter.

    • Large model:
      Recommended for less common languages (such as Slovenian, Basque, Amharic, Breton, and others) — more comprehensive language coverage but requires slightly more resources.

    You can easily choose between Small and Large models in the Transcription settings inside the app, depending on your language needs.

    Important:
    If you don't see transcription hours after updating, make sure to update Hindenburg PRO to the latest version. Your hours will reappear once the update is installed.

  • PT Session import:
    You can now also open Pro Tools sessions (.ptx) that use polyphonic .wav files directly in Hindenburg PRO, making it even easier to move projects between platforms.
