Introduction:

In this release, we're have tweeked and improved on the latest version. A number of improvements and bug fixes have been added.

Miscellaneous improvements:

  • Manuscript Search: Easily find content in your manuscript using Cmd+F (Ctrl+F). Now supports searching for multiple words.
  • Chapter Links in Manuscript: Added URL links to chapters, providing quick navigation.
  • Enhanced .txt Export: Export manuscripts with titles and chapters included, offering better organization.
  • Keyboard Navigation in Manuscript: Improved keyboard-based navigation and selection for a smoother experience.
  • Edit Cancelation: Added the option to cancel word edits using the ESC key.
  • Punctuation Editing: Introduced the ability to edit punctuation only in the manuscript.
  • Undo Functionality: Enhanced the undo feature to restore the correct time when undoing word edits.
  • Drag'n'Drop: Improved functionality when dragging and dropping from other applications.


Fixes:

  • Visual and Stability Enhancements:
    • Fixed missing loop/pre-roll icons in Light mode.
    • Resolved video export issues on Windows.
    • Addressed missing frames during video export.
    • Fixed a crash related to undoing multiple text edits.
    • Eliminated erratic jumps when crossing chapters in the manuscript.
  • Keyboard and Shortcut Fixes:
    • Corrected non-functioning keys in Clipboards after using Colours.
    • Fixed nonworking keyboard shortcuts on macOS (Option+C, Option+T).
    • Ignored auto-repeating keyboard shortcuts to prevent issues.
  • Stability and Reliability Fixes:
    • Addressed a crash issue during shutdown.
    • Fixed crash when opening on older macOS versions.
    • Fixed a crash when clearing an empty text field.
    • Resolved the loss of transcription when relinking files.
