Transcription
Hindenburg Pro 2’s secure offline transcription engine lets you transcribe from wherever the road takes you. Once your audio file is transcribed, you can now edit in the new Manuscript window or in the Workspace, it’s up to you. And best of all, the transcription engine works inside your computer without sending your data to a third-party server – saving you data usage charges and protecting your sensitive information.
Manuscript
Once your audio is transcribed, you now can edit it just like a text document in the Manuscript window. Intelligent voice recognition identifies each voice in your audio and separates them in the manuscript, to give you an overview of your interview. Transcription information is also included at the top of each Region in the Workspace for easy navigation. When your project is finished, your Manuscript can be exported.
New look
Hindenburg Pro 2 looks as good as it sounds. The new high-resolution user interface makes it easier to distinguish tracks, create fades, and more. And now you can use colours as a storytelling tool by adding different colours to your regions to identify people, sounds, FX and more in the Workspace.
Clipboard
Keep your session – and workflow – organised and manageable with the new Clipboard, the fastest way to sort, organise and access your Clips. Preview audio directly from the clipboard and quickly find specific sound bites using the new Transcription search features. We’ve also added Sub-Groups to make organising larger sessions even easier, and now you can rename Clips, Groups and Sub-groups so you can work the way you want.
Video track
Yes, you read that right. We’ve added a Video Track that lets you view imported video while you edit, create and master the audio track. Hindenburg Pro 2 can then export a lossless video file with the new audio. Perfect for Audio Narrators, Audio Descriptions, Voice Over Artists, Voice Actors, Audio Post Production, YouTube Creators and more.
Sound Libraries
Hindenburg Pro 2 includes access to Soundly’s massive database of royalty-free, radio-ready sound effects. Soundly files can be dragged and dropped into your session to lift your productions to the next level. The Standard Library includes 2,000 sound FX and the Gold Library includes over 20,000 sound FX.
Audio cleanup
Not every take is perfect and some interviews sound better than others. Hindenburg Pro 2 includes a complete suite of advanced tools for removing unwanted sounds, distortion/clipping, clicks, mouth smacks, breaths and plosives – so you can get the most out of every recording.
Call Recorder
Recording interviews for your podcasts, shows and programs has never been easier. With Call Recorder, you can invite multiple participants directly from Hindenburg to a private, secure interview space with live video monitoring. Each participants’ high-quality audio (WAV) is saved as an individual track in real-time for easy transcription and editing.
What happens to my Hindenburg 1.xx AFTER THE LAUNCH OF pro 2?
You can continue using Hindenburg PRO 1.xx and LITE, but we will no longer provide updates and support.
Will I need to pay for an upgrade?
Yes, for the first time ever, Perpetual PRO and LITE users will need to pay for an upgrade to access 2.0.
Will THERE BE AN DISCOUNT FOR upgradeS?
Yes, CURRENT Perpetual PRO and LITE users will be offered a discount.
BUT I JUST BOUGHT IT YESTERDAY?!?!
Perpetual PRO users who bought a licence after we announced version 2 on February 13th, 2023 will be upgraded for free.
