manuscript

audio edit with text

Once your audio is transcribed, you now can edit it just like a text document in the Manuscript window. Intelligent voice recognition identifies each voice in your audio and separates them in the manuscript, to give you an overview of your interview. Transcription information is also included at the top of each Region in the Workspace for easy navigation. When your project is finished, your Manuscript can be exported.

Text edit

get a better overview

Navigating in interviews can be challenging. Waveforms are extremely useful for visualising the sound but not the context.
Hindenburg now offers audio editing with text.
Select the text as you would in a word document and see you edits being done in the audio.
Cut areas out for making the interview stand out.
Copy highlight of the text and ad it to the clipboard.

Export text

as metadata

Text can not only be used for editing the audio, but also for adding meta data to your show.
This could be for show notes or as a transcription of your podcast.
Hindenburg will be supporting the most common text / transcription export formats such as:
.txt, .srt, .vtt, .json, .html
